Tennant Creek Training on ‘Responding to Domestic and Family Violence’

This week, CAWLS’ Health Justice Partnership lawyers, Sophie Quinn & Sally Krutsch, delivered a half day free training in Tennant Creek on identifying and responding to domestic and family violence 👩‍🏫📖

During the training, there were sessions presented by:
🔸 CAWLS
🔸 NT Police
🔸 Sexual Assault Referral Centre, Tennant Creek
🔸 Tennant Creek Women’s Refuge

Given the success of CAWLS’ regular training in Alice Springs and via Zoom, it was a great opportunity to reach an even broader network of service providers in the Barkly Region, including staff from the Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation, CatholicCare NT and Stars Foundation.

We are looking forward to working with Tennant Creek service providers on other projects and delivery of Community Legal Education in the future ⚖️👏
