Women’s Rights as Human Rights | FREE 16DOA Workshop

📍 Tuesday 10 December is International Human Rights Day.

📣 To mark this day – and the 16 Days of Activism to End Gender-Based Violence – the Central Australian Women’s Legal Service is hosting a two-part full-day workshop exploring international law and the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), drawing lessons for advancing local advocacy efforts to end gender-based violence.

📅 Tuesday, 10 December | 9am–1pm
⚠️ The workshop will break from 11:00am – 1:30pm to allow participants to attend the Ingkintja Men’s March Against Domestic Violence
📍 Flinders University, Centre for Remote Health, Alice Springs

The workshop is free of charge and open to everyone. Staff of NGO’s, Government Agencies and Community Organisations working towards ending gender-based violence are particularly encouraged to attend.
