Take Back the Track

📍 This weekend, runners and walkers from Alice Springs Mparntwe are invited to “Take Back the Track” and come out in a visible show of support for women and gender diverse peoples’ right to be able to exercise in public without verbal, physical or sexual abuse 🏃💨

☀️ Mparntwe Social RAW and The Dusty Divas are hosting the event. Runners and walkers of all genders are welcome and encouraged to attend, with 4km, 7km and 18km options 👟

This is a local version of events taking place nationally this weekend in response to gender-based violence ✊

We are lucky to have access to beautiful running and walking trails in Alice Springs Mparntwe and it’s important that everyone feels safe to enjoy our beautiful surroundings 🙏
