The NT News reported that digital upgrades and training would be provided to remote First Nations Communities in the Territory, including in the Barkly Region 📲
💻 Lingiari’s Marion Scrymgour MP said “it is a question of equity” when discussing the importance of this program for remote First Nations communities.
📡 In addition, Ms Scrymgour said, “mobile services in the bush are important not only for keeping connected with others but they also have safety implications for remote areas. Whether you are applying for a job, paying bills or checking your bank account, digital inclusion is a necessity.”
