ℹ️ The NT Coroner is currently running an inquest into the recent and tragic deaths of women in the Northern Territory. As part of this inquest, the Coroner is considering what extra support or systemic change is required to ensure that women in the Northern Territory can live free of domestic violence.
📰 On 6 July 2023, The NT News reported an update regarding the inquest process. In particular, the article addressed preliminary considerations being raised through the inquest process with respect to the steps that will need to be taken to learn from the systemic and other issues that contributed to the deaths of the women the subject of the inquest.
