💭 … why is gender equality still an issue?
💭 … why is there a need for women’s specialist services?
💭 … what are the practical, constructive & disruptive actions businesses can take?
💭 … how can we accelerate the pace of change?
💭 … how do we measure the impact of what we do?
🗣️ Late last year, CAWLS in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce NT, stimulated a conversation on these questions & provided an evening full of thought provoking, robust and experienced exchanges between event guests and our panel of esteemed community members, politicians & passionate advocates of change.
The evening covered themes of 👇
🔹 identifying the connection between gender inequality and domestic and family violence
🔹 interrogating the varying ways in which gender inequality is present in Central Australia
🔹 explored practical and measurable steps which can be taken by business and community groups to pursue gender equality
🔹 discussed the relevance of gender-specific services in 2022 & beyond
CAWLS were pleased to record this important discussion & share within the community – so we can all work together towards an equal, fair and connected future for all 🤝
