๐ญ … why is gender equality still an issue?
๐ญ … why is there a need for women’s specialist services?
๐ญ … what are the practical, constructive & disruptive actions businesses can take?
๐ญ … how can we accelerate the pace of change?
๐ญ … how do we measure the impact of what we do?
๐ฃ๏ธ Late last year, CAWLS in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce NT, stimulated a conversation on these questions & provided an evening full of thought provoking, robust and experienced exchanges between event guests and our panel of esteemed community members, politicians & passionate advocates of change.
The evening covered themes of ๐
๐น identifying the connection between gender inequality and domestic and family violence
๐น interrogating the varying ways in which gender inequality is present in Central Australia
๐น explored practical and measurable steps which can be taken by business and community groups to pursue gender equality
๐น discussed the relevance of gender-specific services in 2022 & beyond
CAWLS were pleased to record this important discussion & share within the community โ so we can all work together towards an equal, fair and connected future for all ๐ค
