Because… 🤔
💭 … violence against women & their children costs Australia $22 billion annually
💭 … the rate of sexual assault in the NT is 50% higher than the national rate
💭 … in the NT, there has been a 37% increase in female prisoners over the last 12 months
💭 … more women – than men – lost their jobs as part of the COVID-19 recession
💭 … victim survivors of DFV are 10 x time more likely to experience other legal problems

Surely just ONE of the above is reason enough?! 🤷‍♀️
