CAWLS conducts regular Community Legal Education sessions for community members, stakeholders and professionals on topics including domestic and family violence, child protection, victims of crime compensation, and family law. We believe that there is scope for legal matters to be mitigated or even prevented through empowering women with knowledge.
If your community or workplace would like to arrange a legal education session on one of our areas of practice, we would be happy to hear from you. Please contact us on (08) 8952 4055 or via email at enquiries@cawls.com.au to discuss.
CAWLS is committed to developing community legal education resources for women in Central Australia. See here our most recent italk stories about child protection and domestic violence. These were produced by the italk Library with support from the Law Society Public Purposes Trust.
