Courage and resilience are on full display at ‘A Pot of Courage Café’ run by migrant women in Ballarat ☕

Escaping family violence and confronting unemployment and limited English skills, these women deserve to be celebrated 👏

The women met as part of a support group facilitated by Women’s Health Grampians.  As they discussed obstacles lying in their way of a better life – domestic violence, unemployment, limited English skills – they exchanged skills and experience. This then formed the idea to spin their stories into a recipe book (‘It Takes Courage’) before launching ‘A Pot of Courage Café, which offers training and employment for marginalised women 💪
