International Women’s Day 2024 in the Barkly

Tennant Creek was swept up in a sea of purple, in celebration of the strong & hardworking women of the Barkly region, for International Women’s Day 2024 ✊💜

📍 The town celebrated the day with a march down Patterson Street and an exhibition at the civic hall – which CAWLS were privileged to be a part of.

Thank you to all of the people and organisations in town who came together to pull off this wonderful community event for all in the Barkly 👏
