📍 Last month, CAWLS successfully delivered our third full-day ‘Health Justice Training’ for 2024 📖
📚 CAWLS training focuses on supporting services to recognise and respond to domestic, family and sexual violence in Central Australia, to improve trauma-informed and safe outcomes for clients.
👥 We were privileged to have participants from health services, social services, and the ‘Kintore Law and Justice Group’, who generously shared their valuable experiences and insights. The discussions were enriched by the contributions of guest speakers from Tangentyere Women’s Family Safety Group, Tangentyere Council’s Men’s Behaviour Change Program, Northern Territory Police, Women’s Safety Services of Central Australia and SARC.
A special thanks to the remote community members who travelled great distances to share their stories, particularly those from Kintore 🙏
