CAWLS represents CLCA at CSW68

📍 This week, the Central Australian Women’s Legal Service has been representing Community Legal Centres Australia at the United Nation’s 68th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women in New York City.

💼 The week started on Sunday evening at the Permanent Mission of Australia to the United Nations.

🗣️ Along with other members of the civil society delegation, CAWLS heard from Mr James Larsen, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Australia to the United Nations, and head of the Australian delegation Senator Katy Gallagher.

It was a fantastic start to a full week of networking, sharing learnings and influencing language negotiations 🤝
