Appointment of New CAWLS CEO, Anna Ryan

📢 The CAWLS Board are today pleased to announce, the appointment of Anna Ryan as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Central Australian Women’s Legal Service.

🗣️ Anna has been employed with CAWLS since 2011 and currently holds the position of ‘Legal Practice Manager & Principal Lawyer’. Anna’s previous experience includes working as a ‘Family & Civil Lawyer’ for the former Central Australian Aboriginal Legal Aid Service (CAALAS) and case manager for the Crime Victims Services Unit, NT Department of Justice.

Anna’s continued leadership and passion for justice and gender equality for all women, will provide continuity & stability to the service, as we move into what is already shaping up to be a big year ahead across advocacy, law reform and policy for women in the Northern Territory ⚖️

The CAWLS Board and team are looking forward to the continued growth and success of CAWLS under her management.
