Agreed Conclusions at CSW68

📍 The Commission on the Status of Women are working towards finalising ‘Agreed Conclusions’ on the priority theme of accelerating the achievement of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls, by addressing poverty, strengthening institutions and financing with a gender perspective.

💼 CAWLS are in New York, working with a range of civil society organisations, to provide feedback on early drafts and revisions. Our focus is on ensuring the language describing domestic, family and sexual violence reflects the vital role that Member States should play in addressing poverty, as an element of social entrapment.

🗣️ To support civil society representatives from across the globe participate in the technical revisions, ‘Equality Rights Alliance‘ hosted specific language training earlier this week. CAWLS thanks ERA and the other participants for sharing ideas, learnings & feedback 👏
