‘Access to Justice in the Barkly’ Team visits Elliott

⚖️ Access to Justice in the Barkly is a collective group of four legal assistance services (CAWLS, Legal Aid NT, North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency & Central Australian Aboriginal Family Legal Unit), working collaboratively to improve legal service delivery in our region.

With grant support from the Northern Territory Government, we are working on an implementation plan for the 16 recommendations set out in the ‘2020 Access to Justice in the Barkly’ Report.

📍 We recently travelled to Elliott community to speak with community members about the recommendations and how we can do the legal things better together 💭
