What an inspiring way to start the week! 🤩 CAWLS was thrilled to participate in the ‘2024 Alice Springs Youth Conference’ yesterday – a chance to celebrate youth, acknowledge & respect their voices and open a platform to discuss matters that affect young Territorians 📣
👀 Following a number of presentations & workshops, participants were able to wander through expo stalls – of which, Julianna & Tracy from the CAWLS team had the opportunity to share our ‘uHaven’ program 📲
‘uHaven‘ was designed by young people in Central Australia, to help build healthier relationships and to stand up against domestic, family and sexual violence ✊
💡 The young people driving ‘uHaven‘ wanted a strengths based platform that would help them talk to a trusted adult, connect with local services and provide them with tailored information
📋 The ‘uHaven Relationships Quiz‘ is designed to check in with the ‘health’ of your relationships whether they be family or intimate partners. ℹ️ Learn more via 🔗 uhaven.org.au
Well done to event organizers (NoOne Left Behind) on a very informative and important event for our young Centralians 👏
