2022 WLSA National Meeting | Canberra, ACT

🗣️ Last week, the Central Australian Women’s Legal Service joined representatives from across the country to work on setting the agenda for Women’s Legal Services Australia 📃

Over an intensive two days in the Nation’s capital, the group strategized, prioritised and consolidated WLSA’s processes for working together to achieve justice, safety and equality for all women 💪

Together, the group briefed the Attorney-General, Ministerial and Departmental staff, providing important updates on 🔻
✅ our work across domestic and family violence, family law, migration, employment and economic security for women
✅ highlighting the ongoing impact of COVID-19 in exacerbating gender inequality and;
✅ detailing the experiences of women from all parts of Australia

WLSA look forward to continuing their broad range of collaborative projects with their sister services across the country 🤝💡
