๐ Over the past five months, the Central Australian Women’s Legal Service Education Team has been working in close partnership with Purple House (Western Desert Nganampa Walytja Palyantjaku Tjutaku Aboriginal Corporation) on a powerful, multifaceted project aimed at strengthening responses to disclosures of domestic, family and sexual violence (DFSV).
We recently reached a key milestone, delivering a tailored DFSV fundamentals training program to nearly 80 Purple House staff over two days ๐
๐ฅ From Executive Leadership and IT, to primary care, social support, admin and comms โ staff from every corner of the organisation came together to build knowledge, share insights, and strengthen their capacity to support both patients and colleagues impacted by DFSV.
๐ A huge thank you to Purple House for your wisdom, energy and generosity in welcoming us into the โPurple Wayโ. Weโre proud to walk alongside you on this journey โ and excited for what comes next ๐
โน๏ธ This project is supported by funding from the Northern Territory PHN.
๐ Our thanks also extend to the Alice Springs Town Council for their generous support in venue hire for our second workshop day.
