Support the reversal of funding cuts to Community Legal Centres

As of 1 July 2017, Community Legal Centres (CLCs) across Australia are facing a 30% funding cut. As part of the national “Fund Equal Justice” campaign, coordinated by the National Association of Community Legal Centres (NACLC), CLCs across the nation are lobbying their local Federal representatives in a bid to have these cuts reversed.

Domestic Violence activist and former Australian of the Year, Rosie Batty, is supporting this campaign and has penned a letter to the Prime Minister requesting that the cuts be reversed. If you would like to support the adequate funding of CLCs, please sign Rosie’s letter which can be found here.

The Fund Equal Justice campaign has also prepared a template letter which you can amend and send to our local representative Senator Nigel Scullion. Click here to download a copy of the letter: Template Letter to MP from third party organisations – final
